So something's wrong, but I don't know exactly what it is, nor how to fix it. But it's a no go for me, and I know, for others. I've heard from others that search in Mail works for them. (And yes, I let the index complete its rebuild, which took hours.) The MailKit API, despite having more security layers, is much more restricted than legacy plug-ins. Even so, there are a few things to keep in mind.
